​David Fang (Shaoqing Fang) is a composer, orchestrator, music producer and University lecturer. He has been active in publishing in the international music industry and also a hired music composer / producer who have written music for feature films, TV dramas, video games, musicals and complete Ballet.

As a classically trained musician since the age of 6, he has been playing the violin and migrated to other instruments while performing with chamber orchestras and symphony orchestras in New York City. During his study in the United States, David Fang first came into contact with music composition and production by studying with New York City musician Thomas Toriello. While studying Computer Information Systems at the City University of New York, he continued to study music production and sound design at San Francisco Academy of Art University, studying with award-winning composer Jason Martineau and Industrial Light and Magic (Skywalker Sound) sound designer Steve Romanko. David Fang once worked for Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company and was resident sound designer / music composer of Invision Games. David Fang composed a large-scale full-length ballet called Four Seasons, which premiered at the Shanghai Grand Theater and also collaborated with musicians from the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra.
